Cave Spring High School was a little bit more diverse than Mountain View Elementary, but still offered a wonderful experience to me as a Student Intern. It was my first experience teaching out at a High School.

The school was older than Mountain View, but while the grounds and building were older, the equipment closet and experience of the staff had only grown. The teachers I got to work with at Cave Spring were awesome. They were all so helpful and had such a wealth of experience that they introduced me to a multitude of different games and activities.

I learned a lot from my High School placement and got to really observe the in and out's of a high school from a teacher's perspective. I learned about the different programs within the school, driver's education, and coaching, on top of my every day classroom experiences.

It was a wonderful opportunity to work at Cave Spring; one that really taught me about who I am as a teacher, as well as what makes a good classroom teacher.
