Perhaps the best example I can use in this subject area is the circumstance when I taught out at Mountain View Elementary School. When I taught at Mountain View I was teaching very young school children, many of whom needed very direct and individual instruction.

As an educator, it was my job to take note of this and give clear enough instruction that the children all understood what was being asked of them. I also had to take many of the children aside and show them separate demonstrations and repeat myself.

I was teaching throwing and catching at the time, and had to align my lesson plan in such a way that it flowed nicely; in order to allow the children to succeed and make connections from one activity to the next. I managed this through designing instruction and materials based on key elements in order to me a more effective teacher.
