In my paper, I detail the importance of Lenin, discuss how his background shaped his future politics, and placed him, as an individual, within the broader context of the Russian Revolution's beginnings. This paper demonstrates my ability to discuss change and continuity through time while communicating clearly in writing. It also highlights the idea of an individual's importance in history, and is proof of the development of my skills as a historical scholar, and a critical reader and writer.
