Says: "I love so much about this, starting with Albus Dumbledore! Beyond that, I really found your honesty about the learning disabilities refreshing and powerful. One of the song lyrics that's been stuck in my head a lot lately is from Bastille's song "Flaws": "All of your flaws and all of my flaws, When they have been exhumed We'll see that we need them to be who we are Without them we'd be doomed." Basically, how I read this is that the stuff that scares us about ourselves--our "flaws" the things that we think make us worry that, in your words, we're 'freaks,' are actually the things that make us unique and relevant and powerful. Your learning disabilities make you work hard, and that's helped you succeed. Very cool. PS--I went to an ELCA national convention when I was in high school, too. In San Antonio, way back in, like, 1573 . . . "
